Giftboxd — Terms of Use

1) What Giftboxd is

Giftboxd is a simple gift-tracking app. It helps you record ideas, purchases and budgets. It doesn't provide financial advice and it isn't a marketplace.

2) Your agreement

By installing or using Giftboxd, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please do not use the app.

3) Pricing & payment

• Giftboxd uses a one-off payment to unlock the full app.
• There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
• A limited free mode may be offered so you can try it first.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. Any refunds are subject to Apple's App Store rules.

4) Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Giftboxd on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms.

5) Acceptable use

Don't use the app to store illegal content, infringe others' rights, or do anything that breaks the law. Don't try to reverse engineer or tamper with the app or its security.

6) TestFlight / early access

If you join TestFlight, you're using pre-release software that may have bugs or change without notice. Please don't publicly share screenshots or features that aren't released yet.

7) No ads, ever

Giftboxd. No ads. No data grabs. No nonsense. Ever.

8) Privacy (summary)

Your data stays on your device. We only receive (a) installation numbers and (b) crash reports to fix issues. Full details are in the Privacy Policy below.

9) Third-party services

We may use Apple services (App Store, TestFlight, crash reporting) to distribute and maintain the app. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

10) Intellectual property

Giftboxd, including its name, logo, design, and code, is our intellectual property. You keep all rights to the content you create in the app.

11) Support

This is an indie project. We aim to fix bugs and improve the app, but support is provided on a best-effort basis. Contact: support@giftboxd.app.

12) Warranties & liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
Our total liability to you for any claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it (if any).

13) Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these Terms. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time.

14) Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
